Core Material & Craftsmanship

Rather than traditional acetate or basic metals, Faboor crafts its frames out of Ergal 7075, an ultra-light aluminum alloy primarily used in aerospace applications and high-performance racing.

• The Milling Process: Slabs of Ergal are entirely CNC-milled in-house without any welded joints. This allows for structural clarity, intricate architectural lines, and extreme scratch resistance.

• The Colour Alchemy: The frames do not use superficial paint or liquid coatings. Instead, Faboor utilizes a proprietary anodizing process. This electrochemical transformation opens the metal's pores, allowing deep colour pigments to fuse directly into the metal's structure. The resulting finish feels like matte velvet and cannot chip or scrape off.
