Folc Eyewear is an independent, design-focused brand based in Barcelona that specializes in handcrafted, contemporary eyewear made with a "slow design" philosophy. 

Brand Philosophy and Design

Folc Eyewear was founded in 2016 by product designer Marta Llinarès. The brand focuses on creating unique, contemporary styles by combining classic shapes with thick lines and chunky profiles, treating each pair of spectacles as a "sculpture". The company adheres to a "slow design" model, releasing small, limited collections to ensure top quality and a balance between aesthetics and function. The design and manufacturing process, from initial concept to final product, takes between 10 to 12 months. 

Manufacturing and Materials

• Handcrafted Production: All frames are handcrafted in Northern Italy using traditional manufacturing processes.

• High-Quality Lenses: All Folc eyewear solar lenses are produced by the German company Carl Zeiss, offering high clarity and UV protection, and meeting European, American, and Australian regulations.

• Volume and Color: The designs work with volumes combined with deep solid and transparent colors, creating unique visual effects.
