Rapp Eyewear is an independent, avant-garde luxury brand known for its handcrafted, limited-edition eyeglasses. Founded by optician Mel Rapp in Toronto, Canada, the business began in 1983 as a high-end retail shop (Rapp Optical) before expanding into full-scale, in-house frame design and manufacturing.

The brand remains a tight-knit family enterprise. Mel Rapp handles the technical opticianry, his wife Julia coordinates the vibrant custom color palettes, and their son Shilo oversees the design and manufacturing process.

• Signature Materials: Rapp frames are instantly recognizable by their distinct material combination—featuring carved Italian acetate rims paired with brushed, raw unpolished titanium temples.
